What is OAuth?

OAuth 2.0 is a secure authorization protocol that allows apps (like ListMate) to connect to your Etsy shop — without ever seeing your password.

Why it’s safe:

• You sign in directly on Etsy's website (not on ListMate).
  
  

• Etsy gives ListMate a temporary token that only allows specific actions — like updating listings.
  
  

• You can revoke access anytime from your Etsy account settings.
  
  

What OAuth does not allow:

• We can’t see or access your orders, messages, or customer data.
  
  

• We can’t change your password or login details.
